Obituary of Marilyn Price

The passing of Marilyn Marguerite Price, of Priceville, NB, wife of Perley Price, occurred on Monday, October 3, 2011 at home. Born on November 29, 1946 in Ludlow, NB, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Iris (Austin) Price. She was affiliated with the Miramichi Valley Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church, was an active member of the Boiestown Lions Club, played Bingo and dearly loved her grandchildren and great grand daughter. Besides her husband, Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Sandra Lee Palmer (Eddie); son, Barry Price (Misty Paul); grandchildren, Leanne, Katherine, Andrew, Avery, Aubree and Aderley; one great granddaughter, Leah; her sister, Alberta (Keith) Shannon; two brothers, Sherman and Ronnie (Nancy) Price; sister-in-law, Lynn Price; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Darrell (Elaine) and Willis Price. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Members of the Upper Miramichi Lions Club, Boiestown are asked to assemble at 7 pm for a Tribute Service. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 2 pm from the funeral home with Pastor J. A. Treese officiating. Pallbearers are Trueman, Manley and Alfred Price, Hale Reid, Billie Burke and Dougie Lyons. Honourary Pallbearers are Devota, Katie, Sarah, Tanya and Pat Price, Glenda Munn, Lana Burke and Cathy Cox. Interment will take place at Wesleyan Methodist Cemetery, Doaktown, NB. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, the Upper Miramichi Lions Club, Boiestown or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
