Obituary of Marilda Brewer

The passing of Marilda Mae (Crouse) Brewer of Fredericton, NB, wife of Burtis Brewer occurred on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on October 22, 1938 in Burtts Corner, NB, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Florence (Bird) Crouse. Marilda was a member of the Nashwaaksis United Church and a former member of the UCW. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Tony Brewer (Karen Everett) of Douglas, NB, Blair Brewer (Tina) of Fredericton, NB; daughter, Carla Keenan (Brian) of Saint John, NB; brothers, Doug Crouse (Rosena) of Quispamsis, NB, Wayne Crouse (Debbie) of Burtts Corner, NB; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Marilda was predeceased by her sister, Carolyn Jones. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Monday, March 12, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 10:30am with Rev. Gil MacKenzie officiating. Interment will take place in the Dayton Cemetery, at a later date.
