Obituary of Donna Cosman

The passing of Donna Lenore Cosman of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on April 19, 1941 in North Tay, NB, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Edna (Thomas) Clarkson. She enjoyed being a Homecare Worker. Donna loved to read; liked sports, listening to Blue Grass Music and Country Music, especially Willie Nelson. Donna is survived by her son, John Mazerolle (Debbie) of Toronto, ON; step children, Jessie Cosman (Steve Craig) of Fredericton, NB; Leslie Cosman (Kim) of Fredericton, NB and their children, Meagan and Morgan Cosman; Tara Cosman of Bedford, NS; Neil Cosman of Chicago and his children, Sophia and Leclanie Cosman; step daughter in law, Rhonda Wilson of Fredericton, NB and her children, Tyler and Derrick of Fredericton, NB; siblings, Shirley Pickard (Allen) of Fredericton, NB and her children, Ross Stickles (Gail) of Fort McMurray, AB, Wendy Hawkes of Kingsley, NB and Kevin Stickles (Vicki White) of Fredericton, NB; Dow Clarkson (Coral) of Abbotsford, BC and his children, Terry Clarkson (Jamie) of Aldergrove, BC and Lori Massey of Kelona, BC; Wendall Clarkson (Mary-Jean) of Mississauga, ON and their children, Janice Ma (Marty) of Granger, IN; Ronald Clarkson (Sheila) of Erin, ON and Darcy Clarkson (Katie) of Boulder, CO; special aunt, Glenna MacKinnon of Nashwaak Bridge, NB; several nieces and nephews; Donna is also survived by special friends, Gaynel Bowlen, Terry and Normand McDonald and Joyce Jeffers-Jones. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her step son, Dale Cosman. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, March 8, 2012 from 7-9 pm, and Friday, March 9, 2012 from 1 until service time at 2 pm at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Pastor Normand McDonald officiating. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Lung Association, Fredericton SPCA or the charity of the donor’s choice.
