Obituary of Lawrence Bruce

The passing of Lawrence David Bruce of Boiestown, NB, occurred on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on April 25, 1940 in Hayesville, NB, he was the son of the late Harold and Edith (Price) Bruce. Lawrence was a truck driver for Sears for seven years and a lumber jack for 40 years. Lawrence is survived by his daughters, Vicky Snow (Tim Jones) of Calgary, AB and Jackie Jackson (Mark) of Aidrie, AB; sons, Rocky Bruce (Nancy) of Airdrie, AB, Draper Bruce (Angela) of Bloomfield Ridge, NB and Shawn Bruce (Katelyn) of Calgary, AB; grandchildren, Cecelia Bruce, Nina Bruce, Greg Bruce, Cody Bruce, Skyler Bruce, Christopher Bruce ad Lindsay Gallant (Nick); great grandchildren, Rocky Bruce, Floyd Bruce, Layla Bruce, Madeline Bruce, Isaac Bruce and Lydia Bruce; sister, Deed Simon (Fraser) of Fredericton, NB; brothers, Carl Bruce (Ruth) of Maugerville, NB and Earl Bruce (Etta) of Taxis River, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Flossie Lovelace, June Bruce, Kay Munn, Glenna Bruce and Elsie Munn; brothers, Russell Wheeler, James Munn, Blake Bruce, Pearly Munn, Lloyd Bruce and Darrel Bruce. Although there will be no visitation by request. A Memorial Service will take place at Ridgeway Baptist Church on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 2 pm with Pastor Rick Bruce officiating.
