Obituary of Everett Munn

The passing of Everett Ernest Munn, husband of Iris Munn, of Holtville, NB, occurred on February 10, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on April 3, 1926 in Holtville, NB, he was a son of the late Clairmont and Ella Munn. Everett was a member of Miramichi First Pentecostal Church in Holtville. He worked at several jobs over the years including making ice cream, millwork and being the gate keeper at Rocky Brook Fishing Lodge where he retired from. Everett enjoyed hunting. Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Patricia (Lester) Mitchell of Fredericton, NB; son-in-law, Arden Munn of Holtville, NB; grandchildren, Jennifer (David) Milliea of Rexton, NB, Judy (Adam) Peter-Paul of Cape Breton, NS and Joni Mitchell of Fredericton, NB; great grandchildren, Isaiah and Ella Peter-Paul; sister, Alice Hitchcock of Doaktown, NB; brothers, Raymond (Connie) of AB, Cammy (Sharon) of Taymouth, NB and Clifford (Edith) Munn of Holtville, NB; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughters, Sandra and Judy; grandson, James; sisters, Frances (Robert) Reed and Hannah (Arthur) McElroy; infant brother, Milton. Visitation will take place at Miramichi First Pentecostal Church, Holtville, NB on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from the church on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 2 pm with Rev. Landon Decker officiating and Rev. Carroll Carter assisting. Interment will take place at Cameron Hill Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Northeast Christian College or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
