Obituary of Sharon Szabo

The passing of Sharon Margaret (Lyons) Szabo of New Bandon, NB, wife of Norman Szabo occurred on Monday, January 30, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 22, 1954 in McNamee, NB, she was the daughter of Mary and the late Terrance Lyons. She was a member of the McNamee Pentecostal Assembly. Sharon is survived by her mother, Mary I. Lyons of New Bandon, NB; daughter, Danielle Price (Robert Palmer) of New Bandon, NB; son, Michael (Nicole) Lyons of Yarmouth NS; grandchildren, Alyssa, Ocean, Tayber, Abbie, Jordan, Emily, Justin, Kayleigh, and Leah; sister, Penny (Graham) Lyons, of New Bandon, NB; brother, Kendall (Leslie) Lyons of Bath, ON; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her father, she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Ariana Duff Lyons. Visitation will take place at the McNamee Pentecostal Assembly on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, Thursday February 2, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at the church on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 2 pm with Erdie Price officiating and Rev. Cole Price assisting. Interment will be in the Porter Cove Pentecostal Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
