Obituary of Janet "Nettie" Parsons

The passing of Janet “Nettie” Buckley Parsons of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Louis Parsons, occurred on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on February 4, 1923 in Scotland, she was the daughter of the late William and Catherine (Buckley) Carmichael. Nettie is survived by her daughter, Rena Lean (Ernie) of Douglas, NB; sons, Trueman Parsons (Susan) of Manning, AB and Charles Parsons (Eloise) of Fredericton, NB; 8 grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Esther Griffiths of Fredericton, NB several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sister, May Dillon; brothers, Charles, Alex and William Carmichael. Although there will be no services by Nettie’s request. Arrangements have been entrusted to York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB. The family wishes to thank the LPN’s and nursing staff of 3 East at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital and a special thank you to Janet’s LPN Wendy.
