The passing of Hector Joseph Henry of Fredericton, NB, husband of Betty Anne (True) Henry occurred on Saturday, December 24, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on December 3, 1940 in Bathurst, NB, he was the son of the late Emmett and Mae (Legacy) Henry. He worked in maintenance at the Experimental Farm. Hector enjoyed bowling, golfing, bingo and watching wrestling.
In addition to his wife, Hector is survived by his three daughters, Patsy Russell (Mark), Stacey Broder (Tim) and Kerry McMinniman (Sean); grandchildren, Robert Morehouse, Brittany Russell, Kaitlyn Rumble and Zachary Courish; several sisters and brothers; mother-in-law, Helen True; nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his infant brother, Bernard.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, December 29, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 2 pm with Father John Jennings. Interment will take place at St. Anthony’s Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
