Obituary of Alphie O'Brien

The passing of Alphie Joseph Leo "Manny" O’Brien of Fredericton, NB, husband of the late Vivian “Scet” Lanteigne occurred on Friday, December 23, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 29, 1938 in Jacquet River, NB, he was the son of the late Leo and Bernadette (Hickey) O’Brien. He worked in drilling and blasting for Forbes and Sloat. Alphie is survived by his brothers, Wayne, Alzear, Romeo, Dale and Mark; sisters, Edna, Doreen, Doris, Dalene and Agnes, children, Stephen, Dan, Angie and Peggy O’Brien and their mother, Betty O’Brien; step children, Joey Lanteigne, Chris O’Brien, Harry Dunbar and Judy O’Brien; his grandson, Kynan "The Main Man" plus seven other grandchildren; one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and second wife, he was predeceased by his sister Barb, his daughter, Susan and his grandchild, Kahewan.
