Obituary of Edna Kervin

The passing of Edna Faye Kervin of Keswick Ridge, NB, wife of the late Charles “Sonny” Kervin occurred on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on January 5, 1935 in Upper Blackville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Florence (Arbeau) Peterson. She was a senior’s care worker. Edna enjoyed knitting, music; she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Edna is survived by her three daughters, Marianne Remand, Rhonda (Clarence) Tabor all of Fredericton, NB and Kim (Dave) Kervin of Keswick Ridge, NB; five sons, Gerald (Sue) Kervin of Fredericton, NB, Kevin (Doris) Kervin of Nova Scotia, Geoff Kervin of British Columbia, Dwayne (Melissa) Kervin and Robert (Barb) Nash all of Fredericton, NB; sisters, Lila Arbeau of Doaktown, NB and Laura (Regis) LeBlanc of Fredericton, NB; brother, Luther (Madeline) Peterson of Upper Blackville, NB; grandchildren, Gerry (Suzanne), Jake, Autumn, Brandon, Sarah, Erin, Alexandria, Eldon, Jeremy, Jessie, Brandy, Madison and Cole; several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by daughters, Melinda and Betty Ann; several brothers and sisters. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, December 22, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 11 am with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. The family wishes to thank, Dr. Patricia Thorpe and Pam, for their wonderful care over the years. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Kidney Foundation or the charity of the donor’s choice.
