Obituary of Maurice Charles Ogilvie

The passing of Maurice Charles Ogilvie of Fredericton, NB, husband of Mary (Van Eden) Ogilvie, occurred on Friday, December 16, 2011 at home. Born on February 19, 1921 in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Charles and Dorothy Ogilvie. He was a veteran of WWII and served in the Canadian Armed Forces. Maurice was a lifetime member of the Petitcodiac Golf and Country Club. In addition to his wife, Maurice is survived by his three sons, David and Bruce of Vancouver, BC and Grant (Valerie) of Lincoln, NB; Helen Burke of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Emma, Emily, Marcus, Chrissie, Oliver, Miranda, Lila and Crystal; great grandson, Franklin; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Raymond and Melbourne Ogilvie. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Monday, December 19, 2011 from 6-8 pm.
