Obituary of Gisele Cronk

The passing of Gisele (Godin) Cronk of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Elmer Cronk occurred on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at York Manor Nursing Home. Born in Dalhousie, NB on November 20, 1931 she was a daughter of the late Edmond and Exilda Godin. Gisele was a member St. Theresa’s Catholic Church. She loved her home and spending time with her family. Gisele also enjoyed playing TV bingo. Gisele is survived by two daughters, Diana Tucker (Everette) of Fredericton, NB and Jacqueline Allen (Andrew) of London, ON; grandchildren, Shaun Tucker and Nicholas Allen; two sisters, Lina Elliot (Tom) of Mississauga, ON and Yolande Brisson (Rodrique) of Quebec; two brothers, Roger Godin (Marie) and Jean Guy Godin both of Dalhousie, NB; many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Gisele was predeceased by her granddaughter, Shelly Tucker; brothers, Jules and Roland Godin. There will be no visitation by request of the family. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 2 pm with Father Monte Peters as celebrant. Interment will take place in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
