Obituary of Helen Butterfield

Helen Butterfield (Nellie Sutcliffe) of Popples Bottom, Yorkshire died December 18, 2010. Helen had lived in Fredericton since 1967. She left her devoted husband Harold and three children Susan, Nigel and Michael as well as daughter-in-law Karla and six grandchildren Andrew, Simon, Ashley, Emily, Nigel and Rachel. Nellie loved her family in England sister Kathleen (Alec), brother John (Yvonne) and brother David (Shelagh) in Spain. She was predeceased by mother Lillian and son Andrew. There will be no visitation or funeral. The family thanks Dr. Louise Ruest not only for the excellent professional care she gave Helen, but also for her many kindnesses. A special thank you to Lois who always provided a smiling face and words of support and for the staff at the Superstore pharmacy on Smythe St. who did more than just dispense the prescriptions. Many thanks to friends who have shared their presence and strength. The nurses on 4NW at the DECRH are angels in disguise.
