Obituary of Cornelia Reynolds
The passing of Cornelia “Corrie” Wilhelmina Reynolds nee Brant of Scotch Lake, NB, wife of Cecil Reynolds occurred on January 5, 2011 at York Manor Nursing Home. Born on January 16, 1923 in Netherlands, she was the daughter of Cornelius and Johanna (Reicker) Brant. She worked for General Foods and Parker Brothers. Corrie enjoyed crafts, knitting, cross stitch and needlepoint.
In addition to her husband, Corrie is survived by her two children, Robert van de Moesdyk (Julie) and Renee Pecskovszky (Piet) and step children, William Reynolds (Anne), Paul Reynolds (Wendy), Andrew Reynolds (Ashley), Alice Finnamore (Mike), Marie Yerxa (Larry) and Karen Johnston (Terry); 19 grandchildren; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Harry van de Moesdyk; granddaughter, Sara and sister, Margarite.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, January 7, 2011 from 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 3:30 pm with Rev. Peter Beckwith. Interment will take place in Scotch Settlement Cemetery in the spring.
