Obituary of Geraldine Moore

The passing of Geraldine “Deanie” Della Moore of Fredericton, NB, wife of Paul Moore, occurred on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at home. Born on March 31, 1934 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of Arlington and Austina (Carr) Blizzard. Deanie loved and enjoyed her family, friends and her rocking chair. In addition to her loving husband of 57 years, she is survived by her daughter, Bonny Lunnie of Lincoln, NB; sons, Robert Moore (Rhonda) of Harvey Station, NB and Timothy Moore of Fredericton, NB; four granddaughters, Gloria (James) McCoy, Marley, Mariah and Madison Moore; great grandson, Shane McCoy; sister, Phyllis (Gerald) Blackier of Minto, NB and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, June Frances and brother, Arlington Blizzard Jr. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, February 25, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 2 pm. Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery at a later date.
