The passing of Ella Mae (Brewer) Stafford, wife of Ron Stafford, of Fredericton, occurred on March 1, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on November 14, 1921 in Zealand, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Mabel (Morehouse) Brewer. Ella was a member of Marysville United Church and of the Ladies Auxiliary Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 15. She loved to cook and was known as a master pie baker. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Terry (Ann) of Burton, Ron (Linda) of Fredericton, Jerry (Danica) of Blackville, Fraser (Betty) of Fredericton and David (Joyce) of Fredericton; 14 grandchildren; many great grandchildren;foster daughter-in-law, Wanda Moulaisson of Lincoln; sisters, Beatrice Price and Bernetta LaFromboise both of Cornwall and June (Bruce) Boehner of Bridgewater, NS; brother, Russell Brewer (Emma) of Zealand; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her foster son, James Moulaisson. Although there will be no visitation, a Memorial Service will be held from Marysville United Church on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 2 pm with Rev. Kelly Burke officiating. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary are asked to assemble at the church for a Legion Tribute Service. Reception will follow at the church. Interment will take place in Alexander Gibson Memorial Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
