Obituary of Ruth Laws

The passing of Ruth Aileen (Moore) Laws, wife of Doug Laws, of Fredericton, occurred on Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on December 20, 1923 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Beatrice Moore. She was a member of Crosspoint Wesleyan Church. In her younger years, Ruth enjoyed skating and was a softball champion in Marysville; but most of all Ruth enjoyed her family.
Besides her husband, Doug of 65 years, Ruth is survived by her children, Deborah and Doug Laws; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother, Curtis Moore; several nieces and nephews.
Although there will be no services at this time, a Graveside Service will take place in the spring at Olivet Wesleyan Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
