Obituary of Karen Mersereau

The passing of Karen Ann Mersereau of New Bandon, NB, wife of George Mersereau, occurred on August 28, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 29, 1956 in New Bandon, NB, she was the daughter of Charles and Luella (O’Donnell) Howe. Karen was a member of McNamee Pentecostal Assembly. She was a medical secretary. Karen shared her gift of music ministry with her church, community and in the group “Heaven Bound and Friends”.
Besides her husband, Karen is survived by her daughters, Carrie Jo MacKenzie (Jason) of Burlington, ON and Katie Jo Duplessis (Adam) of Ottawa, ON; granddaughter, Shaelah Skye MacKenzie; brothers, Roger Howe (Carla) of New Bandon, NB and Rev. Kevin Howe (Connie) of Minto, NB; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at McNamee Pentecostal Assembly on Friday, August 29, 2008 from 7-9 pm and Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place from the church on Sunday, August 31, 2008 at 2 pm with Pastor Cole Price and Rev. Kevin Howe officiating. Interment will take place in Porter Cove Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrance may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the McNamee Pentecostal Church (Key Board Fund). Personal condolences may be offered through www.miramichivalleyfh.com
