The passing of Juanita Caroline Savoie of Doaktown, NB, wife of Clarence Savoie, occurred on Friday, May 22, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on February 11, 1943 in Carroll’s Crossing, NB, she was the daughter of the late Elroy and Almeda (Lyons) Price. Juanita was a member of the McNamee Pentecostal Church.
In addition to her husband, Juanita is survived by her son, Steven (Tracey) of Oro Station, ON; sisters, Cassie (Clark) Storey of Doaktown, NB, Irva (Dwight) Larsen and Palma (Melvin) Calhoun both of Fredericton, NB and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Juanita was predeceased by her son, Wayne Savoie and brother, Merlin Price.
Although there will be no public visitation, a private family Funeral Service will be held from the Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon, NB on Tuesday May 26, 2009 at 2pm with Pastor Cole Price officiating. Interment will take place in Porter Cove Pentecostal Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
