Obituary of Clark Lyons
The passing of Clark Raymond Lyons of Carroll’s Crossing, NB, husband of the late Diana Jean Lyons occurred on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 28, 1944 in Carroll’s Crossing, NB, he was the son of the late Theodore and Emma (Arbeau) Lyons. Clark met Jean in Petawawa and they were married on August 21, 1965 in Carroll’s Crossing, NB. Clark worked in the woods. In later years he did some guiding. Clark loved to fish and hunt.
Clark is survived by his children, Kelly (Melanie) Lyons, Candace (John) Lyons and Molly (John) Bransfield; grandchildren, Melanie Weaver, Kristyn, Brittney, Andrew, Amber and Alexis Lyons, Joshua and Jordan Bransfield; sisters, Bertha Wilson (Donald) and Mary Lyons; sisters-in-law, Mary and Diana Lyons; special friend and companion, Letha Aubin; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Clark was predeceased by his sister, Almeda and brothers, Terry, Jim and Eric.
Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon on Saturday, July 4, 2009 from 7-9 pm and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at the Carroll’s Crossing United Baptist Church on Monday, July 6, 2009 at 2 pm with Pastor Roger Mitchell officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Paul and Buddie Wellwood, Henry Stewart, Tony Daley, Edwin and Allen O’Donnell. Interment will take place in the church cemetery. Special thanks to Edwin (Dora) O’Donnell for their kindness and support over the past few weeks. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation, Carroll's Crossing United Baptist Church(Building Fund) or the charity of the donor’s choice.
