Obituary of Cecil Norrad

The passing of Cecil Norrad occurred at home November 7, 2009. Born in Bloomfield Ridge, York County on the 19th day of April 1916, he was the son of the late Ethelbert and Winnifred (Howel) Norrad. Cecil is survived by his wife, Margaret Delma Lovelace; five sons, Harry (Regina), Weldon (Mary Lou), Gladwin (Susan), Perry (Judy) and Trevor (Erin); four daughters, Yvonne, Winnifred (Milton), Isabell (Judson) and Annabel; 24 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces and cousin; one brother, Alton (Alberta) of Bloomfield Ridge. He was predeceased by one son, Ray; one daughter, Laura; one great-grandson Cody; nine brothers; three sisters and son-in-law, George McKay. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon, on Sunday from 7 to 9 pm and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Miramichi Valley Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 2 pm with Rev. Stephen Ashfield officiating. Interment will be in Bloomfield Ridge Cemetery.
