The passing of Mary Gertrude Munn of Boiestown, NB, wife of Wesley Munn, occurred on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the Central New Brunswick Nursing Home. Born in Blissfield, NB she was a daughter of the late William and Barbara (Price) Munn. In addition to her husband of 69 years, Mary is survived by her daughters, Dorene Beek (Gordon) of Hazelton, NB, Christina “Sally” Harris (Donnie) of Red Deer, AB, Grace Snow (Gerald) of Hazelton, NB, Nila Stewart (James) of Boiestown, NB, Gayle Munn (Harold Beek) and Sheila Parker (James) both of Doaktown, NB; sons, Duncan (Debbie) of Ludlow, NB, Everett (Janette) of Hazelton, NB, Eugene (Mabel) of Port Hardy, BC, Fred (Dorothy) of Hazelton, NB, Percy (Cinda) of McNamee, NB, Ronnie Munn and Jack (Michelle) both of Fredericton, NB, Michael (Laura) of Hazelton, NB, Bennie (Darlene) of Summerside, PE and Mark (Stacey) of Killarney, NB; 44 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; sister, June Connors (Irvine) of Doaktown, NB; brothers, Andrew (Ruby) of Hazelton, NB, and Raymond of St. George, NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins; sister-in-law, Gladys of Ludlow, NB. Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by one grandchild Ryan; one son-in-law, George Blackwood; three brothers, Sherman, William and Thomas Munn. Visitation will take place at Doaktown United Pentecostal Church, Doaktown, NB on Friday, June 18, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place from Doaktown United Pentecostal Church on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 1 pm with Rev. Hayward Stewart officiating and Rev. Russell Morehouse assisting. Pallbearers for the service will be Darren and Derek Munn, Matt and Daniel Beek, Chris and Joey Snow; Honourary Pallbearers are Jason Parker, Darcey, Adam, Raymond and Nicky Munn.Interment will take place in Doaktown Pentecostal Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances made to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
