Obituary of Nathen Scott
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Nathen Wayne Scott, age 3, of Boiestown, NB. Born on February 7, 2008 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of Wayne and Arlene (Lavigne) Scott. Nathen was a happy, healthy young boy and very full of life. He enjoyed camping, boating, hunting with Daddy and playing with his friends; he especially loved his trucks and tractors. He always had a sweet little grin and a sparkle in his eyes.
In addition to his parents, Nathen is survived and will be deeply missed by his sister, Miranda Scott and two brothers, Anthony Scott and Brad Goodine all living at home; maternal grandfather, Albert Lavigne (the late Loretta) and his companion, Mary LeBlanc of Fredericton, NB; paternal grandparents, LeRoy and Sheila Scott of Boiestown, NB; paternal great grandfather, Vaughn Calhoun; Nathen will also be sadly missed by his several aunts and uncles, Kathy (Allan) McCormack, Cheryl (Chad) Davis, Richard Lavigne, Jackie (Charles) Marshall, Marie (Bruce) Hilder, Rolande (John) Brown, Denise (George) Murray, Nicole (Vincent) Saulnier, Jeanne Paul (Brian), Anne (Jerry) Waite, Carole (Ray) Malmberg, Leon (Roma) Lavigne, Roger Lavigne, Danny (Patricia) Lavigne; several cousins and his partner in crime, Harley the family dog. Nathen was predeceased by his uncle, Tony Scott.
Visitation will take place at Gateway of Hope Assembly, Boiestown, NB on Saturday, February 19, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at the church on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at 3 pm with Stephen Ashfield and Robbie Hanson officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Brandon Bruce, Tony Lovelace, Rob Couturier and Willie Lyons; Honourary Pallbearers will be Darren McCormack, Andy Green, Marty Fowler, Jeff Munn, Brandon Storey, Mitchell Waite, Josh Norrad, Matthew McCormack, Shauna and Michael McAleer, Petra Lyons, Debbie Couturier and Ann Marie Lovelace.
