Obituary of Roberta Gibson

The passing of Roberta Margaret Gibson formerly of Taxis River, NB, wife of the late Clarence W. Gibson occurred on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at the Central NB Nursing Home. Born on June 25, 1917 in Burnt Church, NB, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Annie (MacKnight) Morrison. She was a member of the Parkers Ridge United Church and a Life Member of the W.I. Roberta is survived by her son, Elwood (Jane) Gibson of Taxis River, NB; daughter, Ila (Lorne) Logan of Saint John, NB; grandsons, Joshua (Jane) Logan and Benjamin Gibson; granddaughter, Laurel Gibson (Derek); great grandchildren, Issac Simon and Ruthie Logan. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Clarence W. Gibson Jr.; step father, Ernest W. Parker and step brother, MacKnight Parker. A Private Family Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home. Interment will take place in Parker’s Ridge Cemetery at a later date.
