Obituary of Anna "Maria Fackelmann

The passing of Anna "Maria” Luise Fackelmann, of Fredericton, the wife of Georg Fackelmann, occurred on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at home. Besides her husband, she is survived by daughter, "Beate" Maria (Fackelmann) Kuester, son-in-law, Uwe Kuester; brother, Heini Langendoerfer (the Late Hilde); grandson, Florian-Alexander Kuester; other surviving relatives, Joe and Helga Schmidt (Kuester); Riley Durelle Schmidt; Marc and Stacey Schmidt; and Mateo Schmidt. She was predeceased by her father, Johannes Jakob Langendoerfer; her mother, Elisabeth Luise (Reese) Langendoerfer, and her sister, Elli Langendoerfer. Maria's family would like to thank all the staff of 4 South-West, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, especially, Dr. Boisvert (surgeon) and their family doctor Dr. Paulin in Oromocto. A big thank you to the Extra-Mural Nurses for their excellent care and compassion and the staff from Bayshore. A celebration of life will be held at her home (304 Union Street) at a later time.
