DWYER, LEO TERRENCE (TERRY) NOVEMBER 27, 1945 - DECEMBER 10, 2019 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Leo Terrence (Terry) Dwyer at the Oromocto Public Hospital in New Brunswick on December 10, 2019. Terry was a kind and generous soul that would give everything he owned to someone if he believed they were in need. He triumphed over many obstacles in his lifetime to become the hardworking, compassionate and loving husband, dad & “pops” that he was loving his family with all his heart. Surviving in addition to his only son Michael (Tammy) Dwyer of Oromocto, New Brunswick are his seven grandchildren: Austin, Bailey, Elissa, Brendon, Ryan, Dexter and Tekla; two honorary grandchildren: Jasmine and Jackson; and two great-grandchildren: Alivia and Mason. Also surviving to mourn Terry’s passing are his sister, Stephanie Dewling of Milton, Newfoundland; seven sisters-in-law Mary Follett, Sara (Tom) Peters, Lillian Jefford, Geri (Bruce) McWilliam, (Catherine (Bun) Dwyer and Patricia (Finney) Dwyer; one brother-in-law, Jim (Alice) Norman; along with several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Besides his parents, Terry was predeceased by his loving wife of 47 years, Nora (Norman) Dwyer; three brothers: Michael, Edward (Finnie), and Bernard (Bun) Dwyer; three sisters: Mary Rodriguez, Reese San Augustine and Florence Clancey. Following Terry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a graveside service in Long Harbour, Newfoundland at a later date, where he and Nora will once again be together at their final resting place.
