Obituary of Peter Harding

It is with great sadness that the family of Peter Arnold Harding announce his passing on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Fredericton Hospice House. Born in Fredericton on February 2, 1956, he was the son of Harriet Stairs (Yerxa) and the late Arnold Harding of Maugerville, NB. Peter was an avid outdoorsman and loved nothing more than spending his days fishing on the water of the Miramichi River or simply watching it pass by on the deck of "The Camp". He could tell a tale that would keep anyone on the hook until the end and was proud of the many houses he built with his brother, John. He had a special bond with his nephews, Thomas and Austin, who would listen intently to his stories, as well as his beloved dog Abby. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Gale Landry; daughter, Angela Paul (Brad); son, Jared (Katie); grandchildren, Drake and James Paul, Quinn and Addison Harding; brother, John Harding (Lisa); sister, Diann Flewelling (Wayne); several nephews and nieces. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by sister, Debbie Lapalme; step-father, Merlin Stairs; several aunts and uncles. There will be a Private Family Graveside Service in Maugerville Baptist Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Hospice Fredericton.
