Obituary of Margaret "Marge" O'Neill

O’NEILL, MARGARET “MARGE” GERTRUDE The passing of Margaret “Marge” O’Neill of Fredericton, wife of the late Everett S. O’Neill, occurred on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Hospice House, Fredericton. Born on September 30, 1940, she was a daughter of the late William and Catherine (Hackett) Daley. Marge worked for the Toronto Stock Exchange and then for Canada Post before retiring. Her hobbies included reading and knitting. Surviving are her sons, Daniel, Keith and Patrick O’Neill; grandchildren, Josh O’Neill and Ben O’Neill; great grandchildren, Kye and Ryder; brothers, Edward Daley and Clayton Daley; sisters, Barbara Regan, Josephine Harrigan and Evelyn O’Toole; brother in law, Loran O’Neill; sisters in law, Theresa Hefferan, Margaret Mary Daley; Donna Daley and Diane Carleton. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by brothers, William Daley, Raymond Daley, Clarence Daley, and Frank Daley; sisters, Marie McAuley and Lita Hayden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 11 am with Father Martin Arputham as a celebrant. Interment will be in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
