Obituary of Zola Price

What a life it has been! At the tender age of 103, Zola “Timmie” Price passed away peacefully at York Care Centre on Wednesday, October 23, 2019. Timmie loved life and everything it had to offer. When her beloved husband, Howard passed away in 1951, she proudly raised her two sons, Jerry and Dick on her own. Family was always very important to her and she loved to hear what everyone was up to. She is survived by her sons, Jerry (Lynn) of St. George, NB and Dick (Giselle) of Fredericton, NB; three grandchildren, Karyn (Guy Peters), Lisa (Doug Shaw) and Patrick Price (Anne Laurie); three great-grandchildren, Kennedy and Brooklyn Peters and Aaron Shaw; she is also survived by her sister, Judy Huggard; brothers, Donald “Red” Norrad (Ila) and Ralph Norrad (Joan). In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, Harold Norrad (Helen), Gordon “Dode” Norrad (Betty), Murray Norrad (Madge), Douglas Norrad (Lenora) and Richard Norrad (Corrine); sister, Jane “Teet” Scott (Mitch) and her sister-in-law, Verna Norrad. Following Timmie’s wishes there will be no funeral or visitation. Cremation has been entrusted to York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB. A sincere thank you to the nurses and staff of York Care Centre for their kind and compassionate care in the last year of Timmie’s life. In memory of Timmie please be kind to each other.
