Obituary of Donald Johnston

The passing of Donald “Don” Eric Johnston of Durham Bridge, NB occurred on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at the Hospice House, Fredericton, NB. Born on September 3, 1951 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Clifford and Mae (Cleghorn) Johnston. Don was a loving father and grandfather, who spent his time as a welder, fabricator and machinist. Don will be remembered as a man who was always ready to lend a hand and give helpful advice. Don is survived by his sons, Douglas Everett Johnston (Shelley Perry), Jeffrey Donald Johnston (Heather) and the mother of his children, Linda (Stewart) Johnston; grandchildren, Kari-Lynn Johnston and Anthony McCoy; sister, Beverly Cadger; brother, John Johnston; niece and nephew, Debbie Savage and Gordon Savage. A Celebration of Life Gathering at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, October 20, 2019 from 2-4 pm. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Hospice Fredericton.
