Obituary of Joseph Nowlan

The passing of Joseph “Alfred” Nowlan of Fredericton, NB, wife of Gertrude Nowlan occurred on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 16, 1929 in Paquetteville, NB, he was the son of the late John and Marie (Hebert) Nowlan. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church. Alfred loved fly fishing, especially salmon and trout. In addition to his wife, Alfred is survived by his son, Jason Nowlan (Bobbi-Jo); grandchildren, Samantha, Carla and Georgia; sister, Emmercienne Savoie; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by ten siblings. Although there will be no services by request, for those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick.
