Obituary of Eldon Calhoun

The passing of Eldon Ivan Calhoun of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on January 26, 1942 in Newcastle, NB, he was the son of the late Ivan and Alma (Astle) Calhoun. He worked for Service Master. Eldon enjoyed hunting, fishing and doing puzzles; he especially enjoyed spending time with his daughter and grandchildren. Eldon is survived by his daughter, Jeannette Mallaley; step-son, Gerald Mallaley; granddaughters, Mckenzie and Kylee; sister, Kathy Howland; brother, Richard Calhoun (Shirley Ross); nephew, Chris Howland (Karen); grand-nieces, Sophie and Harper all of Fredericton, NB. The family would like to take this time to thank Eldon's dedicated caregiver, Marylou, for her kindness and compassion. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 11 am with Rev. Nathan Wright officiating. Interment will take place in Astle Community Cemetery.
