Obituary of Mary Lyons

The passing of Mary Ina Lyons of New Bandon, NB occurred on Monday, September 30, 2019 at the Oromocto Public Hospital, Oromocto, NB. Born on December 25, 1935 in McNamee, NB she was the daughter of the late Walter and Florence (O’Donnell) Lyons Mary is survived by her son, Kendall (Leslie) Lyons of Stony Plain, AB; daughter, Penny (Graham) Lyons of New Bandon, NB; son in law, Norman Szabo of Geary, NB; sisters, Mable Amos and Lois Dore; brother, Darrell Lyons; chosen brothers, Donald and Stephen Lyons; six grandchildren, Michael, Danielle, Matthew, Kari Lyn, Valene and Jenny; twelve great grandchildren, Ocean, Taber, Abby, Alyssa, Justin, Kayleigh, Leah, Walker, Mya, Finnley, Clinton and Mackenzie; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Terrance; daughter, Sharon; brothers, Ben Lyons, Murray Lyons and Carol Lyons; sisters; Gertie Lyons, Edith Price, Ivy O’Donnell and Greta Price; great grandchild, Ariana. Visitation will take place at McNamee Pentecostal Assembly on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will take place from the church on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 11am with Rev. Allison Cromwell officiating and Rev. Cole Price and Rev. Neil Osiowy assisting. Interment will take place in St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, Carroll’s Crossing, NB. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
