Obituary of Thomas Dunphy

DUNPHY, THOMAS “TOM” ARTHUR The passing of Thomas “Tom” Arthur Dunphy occurred on October 1, 2019 at The Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, husband of Caroll (Hamill) Dunphy. Born on May 21, 1954, he was the son of the late Floyd and Connie (Belyea) Dunphy. Tom was a self employed carpenter, a lifetime member of the Trapping Association, Cross Creek Lions Club and the Stanley Agrena. He loved spending time with his boys and his grandchildren, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Tom is survived by his sons; Curtis Dunphy (Jessica), Carter Dunphy (Jessy), their mother Sheila Hay; step sons, Kerry Barker and Scott Barker (Susan Gormley); sisters, Dianne MacLeod (Stephen), Bonnie Harding (Ken) and Joan Dunphy; grandchildren, Cohen and Connor Dunphy; step granddaughter Katelyn Barker; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at St. Thomas Anglican Church, Stanley, New Brunswick on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 12:30 to 2 pm; followed by a Funeral Service at 2 pm with Rev. Canon Bonita LeBlanc officiating. Interment will take place at the St. Thomas Anglican Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Nashwaak Villa Foundation – Helping Hands.
