Brenda and family
My heart is saddened to hear of Merl gone home to be with the Lord. He has reached his eternal glory. But knowing that hearts are still hurting. I wanted you to know that during the short time caring for Elsie I had the privilege of getting to know you all. You became family, you opened your hearts and welcomed me in. When Merl started teasing he made me feel so welcomed. Family was everything to him. When he spoke of family you could see the love he had for you. He was so very proud of the family God blessed him with. Merl remained me of his mother, his faith, his way of teasing, and the love of family. Today we celebrate Merl. Knowing he is with his heavenly Father may it bring comfort and peace.
Much Love & Prayers

Dearest Brenda and Families. So sorry that we can't make it to visitation or the funeral but I am sick with Plursey. So please accept our deepest sympathies on the loss of Merle, a husband, father, grampy and friend. Indeed everyone will miss his presence, which will be difficult by times and we realize that he has only moved to a new address. He is spiritually still alive. And thanks be to the Lord, that with our faith, the Lord provides us with peace, comfort, and strength to go on....... in knowing that your loved one is in His presence. We will be thinking about you and uplifting prayers on your behalf now and in the days ahead. One day at a time. Love to all. Ken & Joyce Atyeo xoxoxo

Dear Brenda and family,
My deepest sympathies to you and the family on your loss.
I have found memories of Merle. He was very good to our family. I remember spending time with your family as a young boy at your house and farm. Learning about the woods and hunting.
There was always something special about him with his good heart and matter of fact and jovial way. He had such a good outlook on life. I always enjoyed speaking with him when I had the chance over the years. Im glad he had such a good life and got to spend his later years on the farm enjoying life.
I will always remember him. He will be missed.
Yours truly,
Greg

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Brenda, Stacy, Brad, and Julie. You already know how much Merle meant to the Sypher family; so incredibly kind, humorous, hard-working and faithful. Our summer weekends at Maquapit Lake were always better when the Chapmans were there! We will all miss Merle, but his legacy and kingdom impact will certainly continue.

I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Chapman's passing. I have many fond memories of him growing up. I always loved how he took time to talk to us kids and to share his knowledge about the outdoors. Being invited to the Farm was one of the greatest honours a kid in Quismpamsis could have.. You are all in my thoughts.

So sorry for your earthly loss. So happy for Merle now with his Lord for eternity and able to pray for you perfectly.Remembering our happy days together even searching the woods for Brad and Paul. Phil.1:23 he is with Christ which is "far better." Life is the opportunity to further the interests of Christ, to tell the Gospel, to be of help to others and Merle is the test book example of this. Remember, the parting is only till He come!
