Life Legacy HURLEY, ARTHUR FREDERICK The passing of Arthur Frederick Hurley of Stanley, NB, occurred on Monday, September 9, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 30, 1946 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Frederick and Jean (Douglass) Hurley. He was a member of Hillcrest United Church. Arthur worked as a Salesman with Chrysler for more than 25 years; operated Bartlett’s Garage; spent time long haul trucking; then owned and operated Cross Creek Trucking of Fort McMurray, AB. Arthur is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Hurley of Stanley, NB and Jill O’Reilley (Derek) of Oakville, ON and their mother, Bonnie Hurley; grandchildren, David, Jackson, Willem and Nate; sister, Sandra Foreman-Webb (Gil) of Moncton, NB; brother, Danny Hurley (Deborah) of Edmonton, AB; several nieces and nephews; special cousin and uncle, Heather Jane Vosper and Robert Vosper; his partner, Susan Smith and her family, Mark, Courtney, Kevin, Rhys, Quinn and Sebastian. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 6-8 pm. The Funeral Service will take place at Hillcrest United Church on Friday, September 13, 2019 at 2 pm with Rev. Brian DeLong officiating. Private interment will take place in Hillcrest United Cemetery. Pallbearers are David Brewer, Jackson Brewer, Derek O’Reilley, Terry Foreman, Jim Pinnock and Michael Bartlett.
