Obituary of Arlene Fletcher

The passing of Arlene Thelma Fletcher of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late John Fletcher occurred on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at York Care Centre. Born on November 4, 1928 in Southampton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Angus Dunlop and Georgie (Dickenson) Carson. Arlene is survived by her daughters, Shirley Duguay (Terry) and Heather Fletcher both of Fredericton, NB; sons, Terry Fletcher (Chris) of Halifax, NS and Jim Fletcher (Jan) of Calgary, AB; grandchildren, Shawn and Michael Duguay, Kimberley Duguay-Gray, Anthony Dorcas, Jennifer, Jillian and Joseph Fletcher and Sarah Goguen; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Hinchey (Wayne) of Fredericton, NB, Eldeana Dunlop of Victoria Corner, NB, Uda Bezanson of Paris, ON; brother, Robert “Bob” Dunlop (Marjorie) of Fredericton NB, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Arlene was predeceased by her daughter, Ann Marie Fletcher; sisters, Janet, Macey and Marilyn; brothers, Merle, Haldean, Zenus, Arcus and Wellie. There will be a Graveside Service at Fredericton Rural Extension Cemetery, Fredericton, NB on Monday, July 15, 2019 at 11 am with Pastor Normand McDonald officiating.
