Obituary of Deborah Amos

Amos, Deborah Lynn The passing of Deborah Lynn Amos the wife of the late Karl Amos, of Fredericton, NB occurred on Friday, July 5, 2019 at York Care Centre. Born on November 29, 1953, in Halifax, NS she was the daughter of the late Fred Jones and Pearl Jones. Deborah was born into a military family and traveled throughout Canada and Germany. She was very close to her family, caring for her mother and children. The family enjoyed their time at Grand Lake in the summers. Deborah loved doing arts and crafts in her spare time. Besides her mother, Deborah is survived by her sons, Kevin (Brittany) and Shawn (Kate); brother, Gary Jones; grandchildren, Jasmine, Briona, KiKi and Deacon. The family would like to extend its thanks to Loretta Thomas for all of her care and support. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 6 to 8 pm at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB. A Memorial Service will be held at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at 4 pm with Pastor Normand McDonald officiating. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to York Foundation.
