Obituary of James Rediker
The passing of James “Jim” Michael Rediker of Tay Creek, NB husband of Sarah (Burtt) Rediker occurred on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, with his wife Sarah and daughter Jeannie by his side. Born on April 2, 1958 in Bath, NB, he was the son of the late Gladys Rediker (Foster). Jim was a landscaper with New Maryland Contractors for over 35 years. He enjoyed four wheeling, fishing, gardening, and spending time with those he loved.
In addition to his wife, Jim is survived by his daughter, Jeannie Rediker; step daughter, Michelle Prosser (Duane); step-son, Troy Doherty (Laura); grandchildren, Taylor and Kimberly Doherty, Darian, Jasmine, Mya and Jet Prosser; great-granddaughter, Lauren Doherty; sisters, Brenda Denny and Jackie Young (Randy); brother, Dale Rediker (Marisa); half-sister, Joyce Moore; sister-in-law, Diane Rediker; several nieces and nephews; his canine friend, Flash “Murphy”. Besides his mother, he was predeceased by his step-father, Darrell Wright; brother, Lorne Rediker; niece, Maggie Rediker; mother- and father-in-law, Charlie and Roena Burtt.
Visitation will take place at Victory Tabernacle on Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Victory Tabernacle on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at 1 pm with Pastor Emily Houle and Rev. Weldon Mutch officiating. Interment will take place in Zealand Community Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Victory Tabernacle or the Zealand Community Cemetery.
