Obituary of Harris Dewolfe

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Harris DeWolfe of Fredericton, NB, husband of the late Judith “Judy” Lynn (Bennett) DeWolfe on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. He was born on November 7, 1948 in Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late John Harris and Thelma (Oxner) Dewolfe. Harris worked for Capable Janitorial Services for 30 years. He enjoyed bingo, fishing and trips to visit family in Nova Scotia. Harris is survived by his four children, Tammy (Gerry) MacDonald, Jody Ozolins, Terry (Lisa) DeWolfe and Shane (Shelley Lynn) DeWolfe; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Terrence, Mary, Violet, Carol, Annie and Liz; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his dog, Teddy and best friend, Jim. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 12-2 pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 2 pm in the York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Lung Association of New Brunswick.
