Obituary of Lorna MacDonald

The passing of Lorna Janet MacDonald of Richibucto Road, NB, wife of the late Winston MacDonald occurred on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at her home peacefully with her family by her side. Born on November 1, 1937 in Riverside Albert, NB, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Florence (Moore) Newcombe. Lorna loved gardening and spending time with Winston and her family. Lorna is survived by her sons, Greg and Jeff (Kathy) MacDonald of Noonan, NB; daughter, Carla (Robert)of Moncton, NB; brother, David (Patti) of Port Elgin, ON; grandchildren, Michelle, Shannon, Tarah, Emily and Ashley; great grandchildren, Amelia and Cole; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Charles (infant) and Ronald Newcombe. At Lorna’s request, there will be no visitation or service. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Fredericton SPCA.
