Obituary of Vaughn Carroll

The passing of Vaughn Alvin Carroll of Carroll’s Crossing, NB, husband of Gladys (Esson) Carroll, occurred on Friday, May 24, 2019 at Hospice Fredericton. Born on September 13, 1933 in Carroll’s Crossing, NB he was the son of the late Alvin and Ivy (Estey) Carroll. Vaughn retired from Northern Alberta Dairy Pool where he worked as an Assistant Sales Manager. He enjoyed Woodworking and Golf. He had also attended Carroll’s Crossing Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Vaughn is survived by his daughter, Kimball Fletcher of North Vancouver, BC; son, Brett Carroll of North Vancouver, BC; grandchildren, Brodie Metcalfe, Georgia Fletcher and Max Fletcher; sister, Irva Maher of Bangor, ME; brothers, Jack Carroll (Athalie) of Cochrane, AB and Edison Carroll (Elinor) of Carroll’s Crossing, NB; one niece and several nephews. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Chapel, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Miramichi Valley Chapel on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 2 pm with Rev. Roger Mitchell officiating and Rev. Neil Osiowy assisting. Interment will take place at the Carroll Family Cemetery, Carroll’s Crossing, NB. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
