Obituary of Tim Kelly

Life Legacy The passing of Timmy “Tim” Ronald Kelly of Fredericton, NB, husband of Laurie Cole, occurred on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 14, 1951 in Upper Kingsclear, NB, he was the son of the late Bert and Phyllis (Kilburn) Kelly. Tim was a well respected member of the Fredericton Police Force and retired as an Inspector after 33 years of dedicated service. Following his retirement, he and his wife, Laurie, together established their design build company New View Designs by Laurie Cole Inc. and received many awards for their outstanding work. In addition to his wife, Tim is survived by his children, Connie Lemieux (Bobby), Matthew Kelly (Meaghan) and Jennifer Gilmore (Garth); grandchildren, Lacey, Bailey, Kaine, Shianne and Karleigh; great-granddaughter, Teaghan; step-sons, Devon Cole (Janelle Wilson) and Brogan Cole; siblings, Roger Kelly (Sherry), Lydia Harris (Wayne), Russell Kelly (Nelda), Judy King (Eugene) and Joanie Kelly (Tammy Hall); sister-in-law, Norma Davidson (Earl); many beloved nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his former spouse, Victoria (Jones) Kelly; brothers, Curtis and Paul Kelly. A Celebration of his life will take place at the Delta Hotel, 225 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at 2:30 pm followed by a reception time for sharing memories of Tim. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Community Foundation in Memory of Cst. Robb Costello and Cst. Sara Burns.
