Obituary of James Cain
The peaceful passing of James "Jim" Thomas Cain of Fredericton Junction, NB, occurred on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 21, 1946 in Saint John, NB, he was the son of the late Eli and Beatrice (Stanley) Cain. Jim was a heavy equipment mechanic and enjoyed restoring old tractors. Jim's true love was his spending time with his grandchildren and was at his happiest when attending family functions surrounded by loved ones.
Jim is survived by his children, Shelly Cain, Julia Nason (Chris), Jason Cain (Cindy Woodman) and Angela Duplisea (Wayne); ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sisters, Kay Lepro and Theresa Constantine (Robert); brothers, Alfred Cain (Mary) and Brian Cain; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Beatrice Leblanc and brother, John Cain.
As per Jim's wishes there will be no service. A celebration of Jim's life will be held at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association. Personal condolences may be offered throughwww.yorkfh.com
