Obituary of Jocelyne Gagnon
The passing of Jocelyne Noëlla Gagnon of Fredericton, NB, wife of Guy Hébert occurred on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, Halifax, NS. Born on December 19, 1952 in Grand Falls/Grand-Sault, NB. She was the daughter of Murielle (Bourgoin) Gagnon and the late Léonard “Bert” Gagnon. Jocelyne retired from the NB Provincial Department of Public Safety. She was a member of Ste-Anne-des-Pays-Bas and the Mactaquac Sailing Association. Jocelyne enjoyed oil painting, watercolour painting and sailing.
In addition to her husband and mother, Jocelyne is survived by her sons, Michel Bonenfant (Erin) and Paul Bonenfant (Heather Fudge); step-daughters Natalie Hébert (Shannon Tapper) and Mélanie Hébert; step-grandchildren, Alora and Jesse Jr. Narvey, Jada, Kayia and Taivan Gordon; sisters Suzanne Marino (Paul), Line Bonenfant (Jace), and Anne Jensen (Mitchell); brothers Roger Gagnon (Mimi), Michel Gagnon (Lise), and Daniel Gagnon (Donna); sisters-in-law, Solange Martin (Roger) and Lise Hébert; brothers-in-law, Jean-Claude Hébert (Carole) and Lionel Hébert (Mary); several nieces and nephews. Besides her father, she was predeceased by her father-in-law, Wilfred Hébert, brother-in-law, Keith Jensen and nephew, Erick Bonenfant.
Visitation will take place at the church of Ste-Anne-des-Pays-Bas, 655 Priestman Street, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, from 12-1 pm followed by a Memorial Mass at 1 pm with Father Melanson as celebrant.
