Obituary of Gordon Beek

The passing of Gordon Nathaniel Beek of Hazelton, NB, husband of Dorene (Munn) Beek occurred on Friday, April 5, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 3, 1931 in Hazelton, NB, he was the son of the late Fred and Amy (Price) Beek. Gordon was a Woodsworker. He was a member of Abundant Life Church, Doaktown, NB. Gordon loved hunting, fishing and cruising through the woods. In addition to his wife, Gordon is survived by his daughters, Deanna Burtt (Dale) of Zealand, NB, Nicole Beek of Fredericton, NB and Patty Williams (Michael) of Zealand, NB; sons, Daniel Beek of Calgary, AB and Matt Beek of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Sarah and Corey Burtt, Jerrica Beek, Kayla Muise, Cecil and Connor Williams; great grandchildren, Madison, Oliver and Presley; sister, Edna Pratt of Doaktown, NB; several nieces, nephews and many extended family. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Mary, Betty and Josie. Visitation will take place at Abundant Life Church on Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Abundant Life Church on Monday, April 8, 2019 at 2 pm with Pastor Ronald Carroll officiating. Interment will occur in the church cemetery at a later date.
