Obituary of Ellen Nagle

The passing of Ellen Doris Nagle of Fredericton, NB occurred on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 29, 1951 in Ludlow, NB, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Jean (Palmer) Nagle. Ellen enjoyed playing bingo, traveling and spending time with her loved ones. She is survived by her children, Lisa Farr (Leigh), Lori VanTassel (Reggie), Doug VanTassel (Springe), Jody “Sherry-Anne” Delorme (Joe), Shane VanTassel (Chrystal) and Merle Van Tassel (Samantha); grandchildren, Brooke, Jennica (Dennis), Kristopher (Jesse-Mae), Jessie (Trina), Amber (Mike), Heidi, Kevin (Jillian), Pat, Zach, Jayden, Jessa, Brandon, Jonathan, Victoria, Breanna, Paige and Sianna; great grandchildren, Ryker, Gabriel, Kayden, Mason, Kero, Aubree and Harlo; sisters, Linda Nagle, Karen Hillier (Dave) and Sheryl Balcome (Wally); brothers, Wayne Nagle (Donna), Ron Nagle (Mimi) and Keith Nagle (Sarah); special friend Larry Card; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ellen was predeceased by her daughter, Shannon VanTassel; sons, Jamie and Johnny VanTassel; sisters, Irma and Susan; brothers, Michael and Stephen. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 12-2 pm followed by the Funeral Service at 2 pm with Rev. Richard McFadyen officiating. Interment will take place in St. George Rural Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Fredericton Transition House.
