Obituary of L.V. Deborah Case

CASE, LAVERNE VIVIAN DEBORAH “DEBBIE” The passing of Laverne Vivian Deborah “Debbie” Case of Bloomfield Ridge, NB, wife of Wayne Case occurred on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on January 9, 1953 in Stanley, NB, she was the daughter of the late Beniah “Benny” and Bertha “Dolly” (Price) Norrad. She worked in Homecare. Debbie was a member of the Boiestown Legion #78 Auxiliary. She loved to cook, Debbie cooked for many special occasions at the Woodsman Museum; she also enjoyed playing cards. In addition to her husband, Debbie is survived by her daughter, Veronica Case; son, Jason Case (Misti); grandchildren, Dylan and Dayna Case; sisters, Becky Shuve (Dave), Tanya MacLaggan (George) and Vanessa Norrad (Jeff); brothers, Bing Norrad (Kelly), Starr Norrad (Laura) and Freddie Norrad (Winnie); mother in law, Virginia “Presh” Case; sisters and brothers in law, Norma, Ernestine, Eva, Cathy, Shirley, Jody, Ricky, Randy and Brian; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Elvis Case and nephew, Tyrone Norrad. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Chapel, New Bandon on Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will take place at the Miramichi Valley Chapel on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at 2 pm with Rev. David Williston officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Doug Guitard, Joey Donald, Tyler Norrad, Brett Black, Jody Jardine and Robert MacLaggan; Honourary Pallbearers will be her six siblings. A Reception will follow at the Boiestown Legion. Interment will take place in Bloomfield Ridge United Cemetery in the spring.
