Obituary of Anna Doak
On 6 February 2019, Anna May Doak of Doaktown, NB (formerly of Charlottetown, PEI) passed away suddenly at the age of 68. Born on May 29, 1950 in Doaktown, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Bertha (Amos) Doak. After receiving her BSc.N from the University of New Brunswick, Anna practiced as a Psychiatric Nurse at the Provincial Hospital in St. John, NB and at Hillsborough Hospital in Charlottetown, PEI. She was an accomplished pianist, serving with several churches in New Brunswick, Ontario, and PEI.
Anna is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Emily Christina (Holloway) and Rob Falconer, grandson and granddaughter, Callum and Hannah Falconer, all of Edmonton, AB; her brothers, George (Sue) Doak of Fredericton, NB and Jerry (Bonnie) Doak of Doaktown, NB; as well as seven nieces and nephews, eleven great-nieces and great-nephews, and her aunt, Betty Lloyd of Moncton, NB. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved son, Benjamin Holloway.
