Obituary of Alice Cole

The passing of Alice Marie Cole of Fredericton, NB, wife of Gordon Cole occurred on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at York Care Centre. Born on February 23, 1936 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late George and Mildred (Wheaton) Boone. Marie was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church. In addition to her husband, Marie is survived by her sons, Andrew Cole (Stephanie) of Zealand, NB, Thomas Cole (Natalie) of Truro, NS, Mac Cole (Angela) of Guelph, ON and Richard Cole (Linda) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Adam, Samuel, Jeremy, Jillian, Dylan, Tyler, Ryan, Cassidy and Victoria; great grandchildren, Onaka, Seth, Elaina, Thomas and Lincoln; sisters, Margaret Crawford, Mary Palmer, Marjorie Boone and Nancy Barnet all of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Susan Cole and sister, Roberta Leight. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 1 pm with Rev. Paul Ranson officiating. Interment will take place in the St. John the Evangelist Cemetery at a later date.
